How does the guarantee work on the Guaranteed Great Rate Money Market Account?

When you open your account, the rate paid for your balance is guaranteed not to go below your opening rate for your balance tier—no matter what happens to our rates—for a set amount of time. After the initial guarantee period, rates may vary at bank's discretion.
