Routing Number
Pre-printed along the bottom of all checks, the American Bankers Association (ABA) routing number is the number designated to each financial institution. The number uses the Federal Reserve System to route checks written by clients. The first sequence of numbers indicates the Federal Reserve Routing Region, the next four numbers indicate the ABA institution identifier, and the last sequence of numbers indicates the checking account number issued by the client's financial institution.
